Yesterday I turned 23 years old!
I’m lucky enough to have my parents here in Florida this week to celebrate with me while Conor, unfortunately, is busy with training. Yesterday was a great day where I was showered with a yummy breakfast, beautiful flowers, and wonderful gifts & cards from all my family and friends.
At one point yesterday I found myself reflecting and thinking about all of the huge changes in my life since my last birthday, and I have to say… it’s been an incredibly eventful year for me:
I graduated from UVM with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Nursing

I got my first car that was all my own

Left home for the first time and moved to Enid, Oklahoma

After months of studying, I passed my NCLEX
Landed my first job as a Registered Nurse

Immersed myself into the Air Force Lifestyle

Baby Jaggs came along and changed our lives forever

Did a SECOND move in just a few months to another new apartment in Oklahoma

GOT ENGAGED!!

Watched Conor graduate from Pilot Training after all of his hard work

Made my first set of Air Force friends, then unfortunately experienced my first Air Force “See you Later”

Moved to FLORIDA!

Began wedding planning: booked a venue, save the dates, bridal party, and BOUGHT my wedding dress!!!

….WOW. Twenty Two will truly be a year to beat. I’m so blessed and humbled by all of the experiences and opportunities that have come my way in the last 365 days. I have amazing friends and family who have supported and loved me all the way through. I have a loving, handsome, wonderful fiance who pushes me to be a better person each and every day. And I have the cutest, snuggly puppy who gives me a reason to smile every morning.
I did a lot when I was 22. I grew up, matured, and started to become the woman I’ve aspired to be. But, 23 will bring many amazing and wonderful memories and experiences. Most importantly, I’ll become a wife. And I can’t wait.
I’ve got a great year coming my way and I’m so excited to see what’s ahead.
Thank you to Conor, my family, and all my wonderful friends for sticking by my side in this crazy ride we call life. Cheers to another year!
And you did it all with such class. You are a very special and beautiful young lady. Keep smiling. Love Jane
