Before partnering up with this company, I knew I had to give these products a try. While I believed in the mission and instantly felt connected to it, I knew I couldn’t promote these products without having actually tried them myself first! While working with the Nourishing Essentials Line as well as using the Charcoal Cleansing Bar and Balancing Facial Mask, my skin cleared up quickly. But, the product that completely sold me on Beautycounter, was the Tint Skin Foundation.

 

I have NEVER been a fan of liquid foundation. It has always felt way too heavy and caked on, it’s also always caused me to break out terribly. Because of this, I was very hesitant to put this makeup on my face, but I knew I had to at least give it a try. And I’m glad I did! This product sold me on Beautycounter. If they can create a liquid foundation that feels this light, provides great coverage, makes my skin look flawless, not cause breakouts, AND be safe? I’m sold. WHY IS THIS PRODUCT SAFER?

Many similar products on the market contain ethoxylated ingredients like Polyethylene Glycols (PEGs), which function has thickeners and emulsifiers. PEGs may be contaminated with 1,4-dioxane, and ethylene oxide, known carcinogens. Tint skin, like all of Beautycounter’s products, doesn’t contain ethoxylated ingredients.

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT:

-Use daily alone, or with a moisturizer

-Squeeze a dime-size amount of foundation onto top of your palm. Using our Retractable Foundation Brush, or your brush of choice, dip and swirl. Apply foundation to the center of your face with a light dabbing motion, then blend outward.

-This product provides sheer to medium coverage. If you desire more coverage, this foundation layers very easily

KEY INGREDIENT:

SODIUM HYALURONATE (Hyaluronic Acid)– This ingredient supports skins water retention and nutrient absorption. It helps to promote smoother looking skin while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

MATTEA’S TIPS:

–USE THE BRUSH! The Retractable Foundation Brush from Beautycounter was made specifically for this foundation. It’s used to create even and flawless coverage while using the smallest amount of foundation needed. I first tried using this foundation with the foundation brush that I already had, and I found that I required more foundation just to get the same amount of coverage I do now. It’s soft, clean, easily portable, and really helps to use Tint Skin Foundation to its maximum potential.

-When testing a shade, know that it takes a minute for the makeup to set and dry. Once fully dried, it does dry just a tiny bit darker. So, don’t be turned away from a shade until you give it time to really dry and blend!

 

 

When clients are considering trying cosmetics from Beautycounter, this is a go-to I always recommend. It truly is unlike any other foundation I’ve used before (powder or liquid). Before this, I was a Bare Minerals girl, as up until now, it had been the only makeup I could find that didn’t make me break out. I would wear it to work at the hospital, and always found that at the end of the 13-14 hour work day, my skin looked like it had been through..well… a 13-14 hour work day!  While wearing  Beautycounter’s Tint Skin Foundation, my skin looks the same all day long whether it’s 7am or 7pm, still glowing and radiant!
