Unfortunately it’s been almost a month since I’ve written anything on this blog, and really that’s just because there’s only been two main things going on over here- wedding planning, and work. In reality, that’s pretty much all each and every day has consisted of in the last few months. Our wedding is a little over a month away and at this point, I’m ready for the planning to be done and over with! But, I continually have to keep reminding myself to embrace this season of life, I will only be engaged and wedding planning once!

Post-wedding I’m looking forward to taking this blog to a new place and updating it with many different aspects of my life. Work, Air Force, fashion, fitness, my journey through learning to cook, and marriage. A lifestyle blog in and of itself, rather than just a way for me to document my memories through this stage of life.

I recently just came back from a week-long trip home to Vermont for Thanksgiving. The week turned out to be more of 6 days of wedding planning and then one holiday that happened to fall in the middle of it all. I had my hair trial, meeting with florist, one last venue tour and meeting with the wedding coordinator, and my BRIDAL SHOWER!

My shower was held at the Hotel Vermont and put together by my Mother with the help of my Grandma. My bridal shower exceeded all expectations I could have ever had. It was a beautiful event with my family, friends, and future family. There were about 40 ladies at my bridal shower, which unfortunately made it pretty hard to chat for very long with each and everyone who attended. Yet, it made me even more excited to see them all again in just a few weeks for an entire weekend of celebrating. I’m still blown away at the wonderful gifts I received as well as all of the outpouring love shown that day. I truly am so blessed.
