The last seven years of my life have been quite the adventure, and I have this guy to thank for that.

Today marks our seven year dating anniversary, and I’m ecstatic at the fact that in just a few short months we get to make this thing official- and he becomes my husband!
We began dating when we were just 16 and 17 years old and once he found out that he’d be going to the Air Force Academy for four years after graduation, I think everyone (including us at the time) were a little skeptical of whether this thing would really last. But here we are, seven years later, preparing to walk down the aisle.
It’s most certain that the last seven years have been anything but easy. We’ve been through our fair share of ups and downs, good times and bad, as well as both happy and sad tears. But we’ve always come out on top. When you begin dating as teenagers there’s a lot of learning and growing up to do, and the fact that we were able to do that together makes me feel so incredibly blessed. We’ve taught each other so much about not only the other person but ourselves as well. I would not be the woman I am today if it weren’t for him and his continuous support, love, and advice over the years. He has truly made me a better person.
Conor, I consider myself so lucky to have been yours for the last seven years and can’t wait to continue to be there by your side for the rest of our lives. You’re my rock, my biggest support, my shoulder to cry on, and my hand to hold. But most importantly, you’re my best friend. Here’s to us, and enjoying the last three months as an engaged couple before we say “I Do!”
I love you to the moon and back, yours always.
